The journey between the Rocky Mountains and the Pacific West is considered to be one of the most beautiful rail journeys in the world and taking the Rocky Mountaineer is a fantastic way to experience it. The most popular route takes two days between Vancouver and either Banff or Jasper, with an overnight stop in Kamloops. Alternatively you can include Whistler in the journey by taking a short train ride between Vancouver and Whistler, extending the experience to three days and stopping in both Whistler and Quesnel overnight. Whichever route you choose you are assured diverse and spectacular landscapes of sparkling lakes, river canyons, forested hillsides and towering mountains.

There are two classes available on the trains. In Silver Leaf the seating is in a single level glass-domed carriage with oversized windows. Delicious hot meals are served to your seat and snacks and beverages are included. Overnight accommodation is in a 3-star hotel. In Gold Leaf you can enjoy seats on the upper level of a two level, glass-domed coach with full-length windows. Gourmet meals are taking in the exclusive dining room and all snacks and beverages are included. You overnight in a 4-star hotel. Transfers to and from your overnight hotels are included.
