Fly in to Vancouver and make your way to your accommodation north of the city.

Visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park today.
Day 3
Collect a car and take the ferry over to Vancouver Island; make your way to Campbell River.
Day 4
Take a bear viewing excursion today; travel by boat to the peaceful inlets of the mainland.
Day 5
Drive north to Port Hardy.
Day 6
Take a whale-watching trip today from nearby Telegraph Cove, a great place to spot Orca.
Day 7
Board the Inside Passage ferry early this morning and enjoy the stunning scenery on this journey. Arrive in Prince Rupert late evening.
Day 8
Join a wildlife excursion in to Khuyteymateen Provincial Park where large number of Grizzly Bears reside.
Day 9
Drive along the Skeena Valley today and head to Smithers
Day 10
Continue your journey through British Columbia to Prince George today
Day 11
You head south today to Williams Lake.
Day 12
Your next stop on this epic journey is 100 mile house.
Day 13
Wind you way through the mountains today to the resort town of Whistler.
Day 14
Spend the day in Whistler. We recommend riding the Peak 2 Peak gondola for fabulous views, but otherwise just relax and enjoy the mountain air.

Travel through Vancouver today to the airport and board your overnight flight home.

This self-drive itinerary is perfect for those who want to get way off the beaten track, and don’t mind driving the distances to find it. It takes you on a route through northern Vancouver Island where you join the Inside Passage ferry to Prince Rupert. From here you drive through central British Columbia all the way back to Vancouver. Along the way remote but delightful little towns await you, and within the vast expanses of wilderness there is iconic wildlife and an immense tranquility to be discovered.
